How can we get Vietnam visa exemption certificate?

Vietnam Ministry allow to grant visa exemption certificate to Vietnamese residing abroad and foreigners of countries which signed exemption agreement with Vietnam Ministry.

Foreigners or Vietnamese who are foreign nationality should know some useful information in below to get Vietnam visa exemption certificate.

The dossier to get visa exemption certificate contains:
- 1 application form to get visa exemption certificate
- 2 photos with 4x6 cm in size with white background, straight face, no hate, no color glasses. Note: 1 photo attached to application form and 1 spare photo.
- Passport or equivalent documents must be at least 6 months validity since the date of entry. If the applicants don’t have passport, they can apply permanent residence issued by foreign agencies with at least 6 months validity.

One of the following document are require:
- A certificate of Vietnamese citizenship
- An excerpt of Decision for Recovery of Vietnamese citizenship duplicate
- An Excerpt of Decision for recovery of Vietnamese citizenship duplicate
- The certificate of lost Vietnamese nationality
- A Vietnamese passport in validity
- A birth day certificate duplicate
- A household registration
- A travel document issued prior to 1975
- An identify card issued prior to 1975
- An excerpt from birth register issued prior to 1975
- All documents to prove that person has original Vietnamese citizenship

If they can’t present document in above, they can submit those documents in below:
- A guarantee issued by Vietnamese organization from an oversea
- A guarantee from Vietnamese citizenship.
