Visa exemption for Myanmar in Vietnam

When Myanmar comes to Vietnam, they don’t be required visa if they stay less than 14 days since November 26th 2013.

Vietnam diplomatic ministry announced about visa exemption between Myanmar and Vietnam government for those who has ordinary passport.

The citizen of Vietnam and Myanmar who has 6 month valid passport will be not required visa when entering each other with less than 14 days stay. If Myanmar who want to stay in Vietnam more than 14 days they must process to get Vietnam visa.


Thus after December 26th 2013 Vietnamese with ordinary passport can enter into 9 countries of ASEAN without visa if they stay not more than 14 days.

Nowadays Vietnamese can easy to travel to countries around the world. Moreover Vietnam also light immigration law to attract foreigners into Vietnam.

In addition, Indian can get Vietnam visa on arrival, and Vietnamese also get Indian visa on arrival. Cambodian, Thailand and Singapore can stay in Vietnam without visa not more than 30 days. Philippine can stay in Vietnam not more than 21 days that not required visa. Brunei can stay in Vietnam less than 14 days in Vietnam without visa.
